The Vision Body and Board of Leaders have been hard at work developing a five year strategic plan for the church. They have prayed for God’s discernment and wisdom upon them in their leadership role, they have studied God’s Word, they have studied the results of the last congregational survey, and they have listened to the members of this congregation in formal and informal gatherings.  As a result of this prayer and work together, the leadership of this congregation created, approved, and now present to you a Strategic Plan that will guide our leadership ministry from 2011-2015.  The strategic plan has two main points:  Spiritual Growth and Unity.  

 

First, as a church, we exist to grow people spiritually.  We want to do that better, and we want to do that with a single-minded focus in the next four years.   Second, we want to spend some time building unity and wholeness within our congregation, as the body of believers at Christ the Savior has been fractured and divided over the Nov 2010 vote.    All decisions and all actions we undertake as a congregation will be filtered through the lens of Spiritual Growth and Unity. 

 

Please take a look at the strategic plan and ask any staff member of lay leader about it if you have any questions.  God is always up to something good in the world.  That is the nature of God, and God is up to something good at Christ the Savior in this season of transition and change.  He wants to grow us, mature us, move us into more and more Christ-likeness, so that we can be about the work of awakening hearts and transforming lives in Fishers, IN. 

  

2011-2016 Strategic Plan
