Men's Ministry at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church exists to bring men into Christ-centered relationships, and to help each man become a Godly influence in his home, church and work community. We are a group of guys from all stages of life and all levels of spiritual growth. We like to have fun, challenge each other, and take action in the world for Christ. We are committed to:
Increase and encourage Christ in one another
Deepen fellowship bonds among men
Identify acts of ministry which serve Christ's purpose
Growing Spiritually
"I have discovered that to be truly successful in life, a man needs to find balance between work, family, recreation, and Jesus. By taking advantage of some of the spiritual and service opportunities through the Band of Brothers Men's Ministry, I have discovered a great formula for helping me find the peace and contentment that were so elusive to the 'old Bill'."Bill Smith Bible study groups, Great Banquet weekends, and Men's Fraternity are opportunities to grow spiritually.
The annual Dads & Kids camping trip is a great way to build relationships
with your kids and with other men.
Connecting Together
A number of events are scheduled throughout the year including:
monthly Men's Breakfast
annual Dads & Kids Camping trip
other activities & events
We have fun and learn to be authentic with one another so that we can support each other through life's challenges.
Serving Others
When men band together and take action for their neighbors, lives are changed and reinvigorated. We serve others through Kairos Prison Ministry, Hamilton County Great Banquet and Via De Cristo, and Lutherwood. "I was a “baby Christian” myself when I became involved in the CTS Ministry to Men in ‘96. It took some guts for me to step outside my comfort zone and make the effort to get to know some men from our church. Being a long time IU fan, I had tended to follow the advice of the basketball coach, Bobby Knight, whose opinion of men and church was “church is a crutch for men who need help”. At that time in my life, I was a certified workaholic and like Bobby, I had no idea of what was missing in my life. I have discovered that to be truly successful in life, a man needs to find balance between work, family, recreation, and Jesus. By taking advantage of some of the spiritual and service opportunities through the CTS Ministry to Men, I have discovered a great formula for helping me find the peace and contentment that were so elusive to the 'old Bill'."
