At Christ the Savior we believe we are all members of the family of God and as Sisters in Christ we are here to support one another thru life's joys, triumphs and challenges. The Sisters Ministry at Christ the Savior draws a diverse group of women of all ages to grow spiritually, connect with each other and serve.
Grow
Spiritual growth is an increasing love of God and other people, it happens as a result of the Holy Spirit at work in us. Growth is not something we do, it is something the Spirit does IN us. To help you grow, we offer weekly
Bible Studies,
retreats, and
monthly events that will minister to you as a Christian woman.
God desires a heart-change over religious actions. He does the revealing, the renewing, the empowering, and the recreating. Your part as His follower is to do the yielding, the submitting, and the obeying. All the while learning to recognize and embrace your God given gifts so that you realize your full potential in Christ.
Connect
Connecting is establishing relationships that will carry us through the many seasons of our lives. Sometimes we are the one who needs support and other times we have the honor of supporting our Sister through prayer and encouragement. There are many different ways for you to get connected at Christ the Savior, some groups meet in the mornings, some at lunch time, and some in the evenings. Groups are based around common interest and include opportunities for Bible study, ministry, or fellowship. Wherever you are in your walk with God, there is a way for you to connect at Christ the Savior. Some examples are: Lunch with Libby, Knit Night, What's for Dinner, 3 Cords. View Upcoming Events on the Home page for a listing of current Events.
Serve
Since spiritual growth is our focus and service is a key component of that growth, we encourage everyone to discover how they can serve. Women’s ministry serves specifically in the following ways, but there are lots of ways to serve, so we encourage women to serve in other ministry areas at church, in the Fishers community, and beyond.

Travel size toiletries
Monday morning bible study participants collect travel size toiletries and put toiletry kits together for the Ronald McDonald house. Please donate your travel size toiletries to the front desk, at any time of the year, and we deliver the kits quarterly.
Lutherwood
Once a month, a group of women go to Lutherwood, a home for emotionally disturbed teens, and play games, host a spa-night, etc, as a to express the love of God to these teens. Cindy Fuhrman is the contact for this service project.
Meet Me Under the Bridge
On the third Sunday of every month, the youth prepare hot meals to serve to the homeless in downtown Indianapolis. People can help by preparing the meals at home and dropping them off at church. A list of the needed meals can be found on the Meet Me Under the Bridge page.
