We are real people who love and worship God and want to welcome you to our church family. To introduce our church family to you, let us tell you about the things that matter most to us. We think it is very important to know God personally and to be lifelong learners who seek to grow spiritually. Teaching, leading and mentoring people in their faith in age appropriate ways is important to us. Building relationships within the church family as well as in the community is also important. As Christ's followers, we are called to be servants - to serve Him by serving others.
Sunday Morning Worship Services
One of the ways that Christ the Savior is unique is that we offer two styles of worship each Sunday. We understand that people participate more fully in worship when it is in a style that touches them. While we may approach God from many different angles, He meets us all in our place of worship. 8:45 a.m. Traditional Service - Lutheran Liturgical style of worship - Hymns led by choir and organ music
10:45 a.m. Contemporary Service - Praise & Worship style - Worship music led by a live band and worship team
Basic information about services:
- The same sermon message is given at both hour-long services.
- If you are out of town and miss a Sunday, you can listen to sermon audio online.
- Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month as well as at special services.
- Greeters at the door, ushers, or Welcome Desk staff can answer any questions.
- Handicapped parking is available and the church building is wheelchair accessible.
- Hearing Assist devices are available for use during services.
Meet our Pastors
Pastor Jim Stuck
Serving as Interim Senior Pastor since December 2011, Pastor Jim has a quiet, reflective stye. He presents sermons without notes, reciting the Gospel story from memory. He brings years of experience as a pastor, as well as 12 years of experience as Bishop to his leadership of Christ the Savior Lutheran church. We appreciate his rich sermons and his calm leadership and look forward to getting to know him in the time he serves as Interim Senior Pastor. (jstuck@christthesavior.org, 842-5649, ext. 221)
Pastor Libby Manning
Pastor Libby Manning joined our staff in 2009 as Pastor of Maturity & Ministry. As a mother of three children, family is a key word in her style and approach to messages. Pastor Libby has a wonderful nurturing sense and her energy abounds. Her sermons are an artful blend of her joyous view of life and spiritual inspriation.
