Easter

April 1
8:45 Traditional Worship
10:45 Contemporary Worship
Celebrate the event that gives our faith meaning, the Resurrection of our Lord! We’ll sing, praise, pray and proclaim the promise of Easter. Nothing – not even death itself – can separate us from the love of God revealed in the Risen Christ!

For the kids
Childcare is available for babies to preschool age children. Older children and youth are invited to worship with their families. A children’s message will be part of the worship experience, and activity kits are available to help keep young ones engaged. Families with young children may choose to sit in the PrayGround, a space set aside for children ages 4 and under to be near their parents and meaningfully engage in both worship and quiet play.

Easter morning has more meaning when we remember the steps that led to the cross. Join us for Holy Week worship services the week leading up to Easter.

Palm Sunday

March 25
8:45 Traditional Worship
10:45 Contemporary Worship
This worship service captures how the excitement of Jesus entering Jerusalem (waving of palm leaves) turns to the rejection and suffering of our Savior (reading the “Passion Narrative”).

Maundy Thursday

March 29
7 pm
After sharing supper with his disciples, Jesus offered a new interpretation of the meal – in which the bread is his body, and the cup is his blood – marking a new covenant, soon to be established when his body is broken and blood spilled upon the cross.

Childcare is available for babies to preschool age children.

Good Friday

March 30
7 pm
With a focus on the people who bore witness to the crucifixion, we find ourselves in the tragedy and promise of Jesus’ death.  Music and prayer draw us to the very foot of the cross.  Good Friday sets the stage for experiencing the thrilling joy of Easter.

Childcare is available for babies to preschool age children.

Easter Vigil

Saturday, March 31
7 pm
This unique worship experience moves throughout the building and grounds and includes lighting the Christ candle, a series of scripture readings, a renewal of baptismal promises at the font and Holy Communion. This worship experience begins with a brief outdoor gathering, so please dress accordingly.

Children are always welcome in worship. However, if it makes you more comfortable to step out, a portion of the worship service will be televised in our nursery room 112 for children supervised by an adult.
