Covenant - New Vows

Perhaps the most contemporary example we have of a covenant is a marriage, in which each spouse makes life altering promises to the other. This marital covenant shapes the shared life of a married couple, keeps the couple within boundaries that will protect their marriage and deepen their relationship. This Sunday, we focus on a text from the prophet Jeremiah who reports that God will repair and re-establish a covenant that has been broken, by writing the covenant upon our very hearts, making us one with God’s gift and promise.
