GROUPS

Every Great Journey has a Starting Point!

We are glad that your journey has brought you to Christ the Savior – is it time to take the next step? If you’re considering joining the congregation as a member, then Starting Point is for you. Starting Point, like each ministry of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, is about connecting more deeply with Christ and one another. Alongside others who are newer to the congregation, we will share rich conversation around some basics of the Christian faith as we consider them through a Lutheran lens. In addition, we will explore how Christ the Savior lives its mission to Know, Love and Serve Christ and our Neighbors.

Participating in Starting Point isn’t a commitment to join the church – but if you’re considering membership, this is your next step. Want to learn more? Join Pastor Brian in room 140 (next to the Café – feel free to grab coffee & a donut!) between services from 9:45-10:45 on Sunday, May 5. If you decide to sign up for the class, you’ll receive your “Starting Point” book that serves as our guide.

The Starting Point Gatherings will be held in the 140’s on the following Sundays, 9:45-10:45 am:

May 5 – Information and Conversation
May 12 & 19
June 9, 16, & 23
July  14, 21 & 28

Limited Kid Care will be available for ages 1 and walking - 4th grade. Registration deadline for Kid Care is May 3.

Join us for as many as possible – we recognize that you may have to miss one or two!

gRIEF sHARE

Returning March 5, 2024
Tuesdays | 7 - 9 pm
GriefShare is a ministry for people grieving the death of a family member or friend. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. You’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way. You are welcome to begin attending at any session. Each session is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. We meet in room 140 each week. Below is an overview of each of the sessions.
